Telemetry Monitors
Used in hospitalized patient who requires observation due to a cardiovascular condition, such as a heart attack, arrhythmias or stroke. Telemetry monitoring is a remote way to monitor patient heart rhythms while the patient is in the hospital.
Inpatient cardiac telemetry can be a highly informative diagnostic tool, as it allows physicians to look at a live feed of the patient’s ECG, respiratory rate, oxygen saturation, analyze cardiac events and understand how often these events are occurring.
