Cardiac Electrophysiologist Dr. Robert Paisley Joins The Texas Heart Institute Center for Cardiovascular Care

HOUSTON June 17, 2023 — The Texas Heart Institute Center for Cardiovascular Care is pleased to welcome Robert D. Paisley, MD, to its expanding practice.

Dr. Paisley is a cardiac electrophysiologist with expertise in diagnosing and treating heart rhythm disorders or arrhythmias, including atrial fibrillation, supraventricular tachycardia, and premature ventricular contractions (PVCs). He also specializes in implanting and managing pacemakers and defibrillators. Dr. Paisley believes in a patient-centered approach to care and works closely with each patient to develop an individualized treatment plan.

In addition, he has served his country with great dedication throughout his life,”  said Eduardo Hernandez, MD, interventional cardiologist and President of The Center.

Dr. Paisley graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology. He received his medical degree from The University of Texas Medical School (The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston) and completed an internship in internal medicine residency at Walter Reed Army Medical Center before volunteering for a combat deployment in support of Operation Enduring Freedom as a battalion surgeon. Following service in the U.S. Army, he completed his internal medicine training at Baylor College of Medicine and went on to cardiology and cardiac electrophysiology fellowships at The Texas Heart Institute.
